SongPeddler Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
SongPeddler is committed to protecting the privacy of
our customers' personal information. This policy explains
the information gathering and dissemination practices
with regard to our registered users or other visitors
to our web site(s). This policy does not, however, cover
our information practices regarding information provided
by members for purposes of our music creator services.
Those practices will vary, and are subject to the specific
agreement between SongPeddler and the music creator member.
As our services evolve, the types of information we collect
and our use of your information may change. Please check
this policy frequently for the most current explanation
of our data practices.
What Information Do We Collect?
When you register with SongPeddler,
our registration form requires you to give us your name,
e-mail address and other contact information. If you register
on our site to use our services, SongPeddler may also
request other information, such as mailing/shipping address,
preferences, and other information relative to your use
of our products and service. We use cookies, which are
strings of text and numbers that can identify your computer
to us when you visit our site, and which may be correlated
with identity information. For more information, please

When you use our service, we collect certain technical
and routing information about your computer. For example,
we log environmental variables, such as browser type,
operating system, CPU speed, and the Internet Protocol
address of your computer, which is a number that can be

others, and to operate the SongPeddler service. If you

necessary for providing our services to you. Our partners

reasonable efforts to ensure that your Data is protected
by contractual restrictions, we cannot guarantee the privacy
or security of Data transferred to our business partners.

SongPeddler may develop demographic and individual profile
data to provide you with personalized services and to
perform our internal marketing analysis. We use your technical
and routing information, such as your IP Address, to help
diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Web
site and to facilitate your use of our service. SongPeddler
is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques
contained in any communication you send to the SongPeddler
site for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited
to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products using
such information.
SongPeddler may disclose your Data if it has a good faith
belief that such action is necessary to:
1. Conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal
process served on SongPeddler;
2. Protect and defend the rights or property of SongPeddler;
or
3. Act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal
safety of its members or the public.
Use of Cookies
SongPeddler may use cookies to deliver
content specific to your interests, to identify you and
your access privileges or to save your username and password
so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our
site. When you are using our service, we may use cookies
to identify you and your access privileges for restricted
areas of our site. When you first sign on, we may set
a temporary cookie which contains a scrambled version
of your username and password. We may restrict access
to certain areas of our site to registered users. Therefore,
any time you go to a page on SongPeddler, we may check
this cookie to see if you are allowed to visit the link
you just clicked. If you set your browser to refuse our
cookies, we have no way of knowing whether you are a registered
user. So you may need to accept our cookies to make full
use of our services. In addition, we may offer the use
of a cookie to store your username and password so that
you do not have to enter it every time you visit our Web
site. If you save your username and/or password in a cookie
and quit your browser, this information remains stored
in the cookie. It will remain on your hard drive until
the expiration date is reached, until you remove the saved

Since this information could be viewed by anyone with

This site has security measures in
place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration
of the information under our control and we make commercially
reasonable efforts to store the information collected
by SongPeddler in a secure operating environment that
is not available to the public. SongPeddler, however,
cannot guarantee complete security.

This web site contains links to other
Web sites. SongPeddler is not responsible for the privacy
practices or the content of such Web sites.
International Users
If you are an international user,
by registering with SongPeddler and using the service,
you agree that SongPeddler may collect, use, and transfer
your Data as described in this Privacy Policy, including
transfers outside your jurisdiction. If you operate in
the European Union or other jurisdictions that provide
access rights under law, you may access your personal
information or have it corrected or updated in accordance
with applicable law by contacting us. In some jurisdictions,
you may be charged a reasonable fee for access to information.
Opt-Out, Corrections, Updates, Comments or Concerns
SongPeddler will store your Data in a database for a length
of time appropriate to our business needs. You may remove
your registration information from our database or change
registration information previously provided by contacting
