Biography

Robin Goodrow and Micheal Goodrow
When Robin was nine years old and her brother Micheal was five, their parents, George and Diana, bought a nursery school which also doubled as the family home. Bambi Nursery School became one of the most respected pre-schools in Southern California for over 25 years and was a very powerful influence in the Goodrow kids. When they came home from school every day they were greeted by 50 pre-schoolers. Robin would tell stories, act out plays and perform puppet shows. Micheal and their brother Dennis played guitar and piano, gave concerts and led sing-alongs.
Robin has continued to teach and perform as a puppeteer. From 1977 to 1987 she wrote, hosted and performed on "Buster and Me," an internationally syndicated award-winning children's TV show. 'Buster' was voted "The Best Local Children's Show in America" by the National Association of Television Programming Executives. Among many awards Robin has received include two Parent's Choice Awards, The National Assocation of Broadcasters Award and four local Emmys. Robin's current show, "Bingo and Molly," airs nationally on the Learning Channel. Robin plays 'Molly' and her husband Brian plays 'Bingo'. The "Bingo and Molly" CD won a Parents Choice Award.
Micheal pursued his interest in theater, film, and music. He became a professional musician and actor, starring as 'Ernie Fields' in the International hit ABC - TV series "Eight is Enough."
Over the years Robin and Micheal have written many children's songs, of which five on this recording earned the duo an Emmy award for songwriting. The thoughts and stories on this CD represent the ideals and values they grew up with and it is their sincere hope that you enjoy AMAZING! They would love to hear any comments you may have, Now ask yourself: What are some of the things you find most AMAZING! About life…dinosaurs, butterflies, the moon…Make a book of all of your favorite AMAZING! Wonders. You may find your book will never end! |

Staff Notes

|
| Robin Goodrow, along with her brother Michael Goodrow, write some of the most fun and imaginative children's music around. The songs are upbeat and topics range from universal messages on songs like "Rainbow Of Colors" to the wacky humor of "Chocolate Pudding Queen". The production is first rate and features some major league LA studio session musicians providing the accompaniment. Highly recommended for kids or the "inner child" in us all. - Michael Diamond, SongPeddler |
